Captain Jack Sparrow better brush up on his swordplay! According to rumours popping up everywhere on the net, Hong Kong star Chow Yun-Fat is up for a major part in both "Pirates Of The Caribbean" sequels.
According to Moviehole, the actor's own wife Jasmine revealed that Fat would play 19th century Chinese pirate Cheung Po Tsai. Legend has it that the pirate, at the peek of his short-lived power, had from 30k to 40k sailors to man his fleet of 600 to 700 vessels. He dominated the South China Sea from 1807 to 1810, before falling to British and Portuguese navies.
Fat joins fellow rumouree Keith Richards, who is said to play Sparrow Senior. Production begins next February on the first sequel, with director Gore Verbinski and the original cast returning.
