When youre a struggling director blamed for almost killing the Batman franchise, and you've got the loyalty of a Colin Farrell for giving him his breakout role, you won't hesitate to offer him a high-profile role.
Farrell is reportedly in talks to reunite with Joel Shumacher for "The Crowded Room". Based on a true story, the movie would have Farrell play Billy Milligan, a man diagnosed with 24 distinct personalities. His condition was made famous when trialed for kidnapping and raping three women.
Said Schumacher, if his and Farrell's schedules can coincide, things would be definitely be a go. Farrell can soon be seen in Terry Malick's "The New World" as legendary explorer John Smith. Next should come the new millennium version of "Miami Vice" for director Michael Mann.
"Crowded Room" would be the third collaboration between both men, after "Tigerland" in 2000, and "Phone Booth" in 2002.
