46-year-old actor Alec Baldwin is trying to make 2005 the year he compensates for all those 1990's stinkers! The actor has added two more films to the six he's already signed on to appear in 2005.
In the Basketball film "Street", Baldwin plays a coach who must train a bunch of street players recruited to replace a whole NBA team, when the owner decides to drastically slash salaries. Director Michael Shapiro, who previously worked on TV series "CSI" and "Dead Zone", will adapt his own screenplay.
Alec will then join Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni in "Fun With Dick And Jane", for "Galaxy Quest" director Dean Parisot. Based on the 1977 comedy starring George Segal and Jane Fonda, the film follows a wealthy couple who compensate for their recent loss of income by planning heists on their rich friends.
