Yesterday a spokesperson for up and coming actor Rey-Phillip Santos called to put to rest to internet rumors of a romantic relationship with actress Halle Berry.
Since then I spoke with the actor and he indicated that he is dating someone who is not currently in the business. His only contact with Ms. Berry was a brief chance meeting at La Guardia Airport where he was flying in and she was flying out. The fact that such a minor occurance resulted in rumors of a full-blown affair shows the inherent unreliability of many internet rumors and tabloid reports. In fact, yesterday, the news reports showed that Halle was moving in with her new boyfriend, actor Michael Ealy. Santos' said that Ealy is an acquaintance of his, a great guy and he wishes the couple all the happiness in the world.
Rey also wanted to remind us that he is probably most known for his roles in Dark Angel. Fans of the actor should be on the lookout for him next season in Third Watch, the hot police drama on NBC.
