This is the part where I usually have to remind readers that a rumour is just a rumour. Especially when it comes from Teen Hollywood.

The entertainment mag recently speculated that pop star Justin Timberlake landed the lead role for Marvel's "Iron Man" feature film. There could be some truth in the rumour, since director Nick Cassavetes, recently announced by New Line to adapt the superhero story, is currently working with Timberlake on "Alpha Dog". The singer also impressed industry experts with his debut in the crime thriller "Edison", alongside Kevin Spacey and Morgan Freeman. Both veteran actors had the highest praise on Justin.

So no need to panic yet. But if the report turns out to be true, it might not be that bad considering Timberlake's strong beginnings. And after all, wasn't his "Nipplegate" performance, at the Super Bowl, worthy of an Oscar?
