A man who made repeated attempts to pray with actor Mel Gibson will now face felony stalking charges. 34 year-old Zack Sinclair was apparently moved by Gibson's film 'Passion of the Christ' and made numerous attempts to get inside the actors home and sent him numerous letters.
A restraining order was issued on October 7th after Sinclair was arrested outside of Gibson's home a second time. The original misdemmeanor charges were replaced by a more serious felony charge. When Mr. Sinclair, who is homeless, violated that restraining order, he was placed in jail when he was unable to raise $500,000 for bail money.
Gibson called the letters 'alarming, harassing and annoying' and said he was 'concerned for the safety of my family.' Gibson is married and has seven children.
Sinclair is due to to be arraigned in a Los Angeles Superior Court on December 16th.
