The folks at IESB got word from a tipster about comments, or perhaps rumors, concerning Natalie Portman and a certain Fedora-wearing adventurer.
According to the insider, Portman mentioned to her "Star Wars" director George Lucas that she would love to be part of the next Indy, which prompted the main man to find her a slot. The comments were apparently overheard during the actress' appearance at the premiere of new movie "Closer".
Of course, the whole thing is still hearsay, but that would maybe explain why Nat doesn't want to be Lois Lane. Or maybe even why Georgie trashed Frank Darabont's script. In any case, don't hold your breath. The next Indy is still, once more, just in the first-draft stage, and must meet the approval of Lucas, Ford and Spielberg.
