Here’s your problem fellas, you want what the woman has so bad, you try to be perfect for her. Let me explain why this isn’t going to work. Women like to have a little bit of control over their man. As much as they’ll tell you and their friends they want all the control, that’s actually not true. Women like real men for the most part. Men who will make their own decisions and help them when they need it most. They don’t want a guy that buckles to everything they say. They want a mutual partner.
All that being said, just understand; there is such a thing as too perfect. What does every woman look for in a man? The tiniest imperfection that they’re gonna change and make better. That way they feel like they’ve made you into the adoring partner that you are.
Now don’t get excited and think this is your free ride to become a boozehound or cheater. What they’re really looking for is someone who has problems keeping the house clean or doesn’t always match the right socks to the right outfit. As I mentioned, it can’t be anything huge like you’re in debt up to your eyeballs or you have no sense of style at all. That stuff just isn’t attractive in the first place. But have something she can consider quirky, and she’s all yours.
The Reality Test:
My buddy has a very dirty apartment. It’s a nice enough place and can be really nice when it’s maintained well, but he doesn’t do that. He tells whomever he’s dating that he doesn’t have time to pick up after himself and so his place gets cluttered quickly. The last 4 women he’s been with have all seen this as an okay thing and have thought it was endearing. And the best part…. they end up cleaning the place to help him out because they feel bad for him that he’s so busy.
It’s just that easy guys. If you really feel that you’re perfect, and a girl should want you anyway, get your head out of your ass and realize everyone has problems. But if you’re thinking that you need to be perfect for the initial meeting and act like you never have any problems, it’s not gonna work. Women see a perfect guy as one of 2 things, a fake or a player. You don’t want to be perceived as either. Leave one thing open as a flaw and she’ll see you as human and someone she can help. Women love to help out a person they care about, that’s why they end up being the moms.
