Needless to say, we at Elite TV were very disappointed at the recent hiatus announcement for the reality series Under One Roof. Our members and visitors were just getting to know the families and the rhythm of the game. We had a nice on-line chat all set up with the Distels when WHAM! - the rug was pulled out from under everyone's feet.

Our belief is that the series was not given a fair chance. Run during basketball's March Madness, the show was not even seen in many major markets, resulting in lower ratings. Momentum was building for this show to be a strong performer with a dedicated internet audience.

We expected with the closure of the show that it would disappear into obscurity. We left our articles and links up for the curious. The curious seemed to be legion. In our statistics, we keep track of visitors that are referred here by search engines such as Google and Yahoo. They also tell us what keywords are used in the search, so we have an idea what people are looking for.

Suprisingly, the top keywords in our stats are Under, One, and Roof, comprising around 29% of our total search engine hits, which have been collected over the last 12 months! Extremely suprising for a reality series which only broadcast two episodes. And a lot of those hits have occurred in the weeks following the show's demise.

UPN, you should give this show another chance. People out there were watching, and they are still very interested. Give us all some closure.
