One week after turning over the Head of Household responsibilities to Alison Irwin, Dana Varela is unceremoniously voted out of the house in a 6-0 decision.
Dana's time was up almost from the moment she handed the keys over to Alison. Working her hardest, she tried to convince Erika Landin that she would be an asset to her and her friends if kept in the house. Using all her tricks, even trying to read lips, Dana struggled to stay alive.
Meanwhile Jun Song, the other eviction nominee, seemed to have little problem in letting Dana self-destruct. Robert Roman, the winner of the Power of Veto refused to take either of the nominees off the block, thus sealing Dana's fate.
Dana, hoping that a 3-3 vote would not occur, which would put her fate in the hands of her nemesis Alison, was spared as all of the voters cast her out. Then the long walk to Julie Chen's studio and the post-eviction interview. Interestingly enough no one was there to greet Dana - perhaps because as the first member of the jury she will be sequestered until the end of the game.
The Head of Household competition resulted in a victory by Justin Giovinco, once again ensuring an interesting time in the house for the next week.
